AI AT WAKE FOREST
A central hub for AI-related resources at
Wake Forest University
Wake Forest University’s Strategic Framework states that “Our motto, Pro Humanitate, calls upon the entire University community to engage in the fundamental questions about what it means to be human” (“Framing our Future”, p.4). This introductory call to the Wake Forest community could not be more relevant to our evolving relationship with Generative Artificial Intelligence technologies. Generative AI presents many possibilities–especially for those equipped to use it well–for enhanced learning and creativity, increased efficiency and innovation, and improved accessibility for all students, faculty, and staff.
As generative artificial intelligence (genAI) and its reach unfolds across roles and experiences at Wake Forest University, this site was developed to connect our campus to resources, support and guidance. We invite you to join the University’s AI journey, wherever your academic and professional curiosity guides you.
Upcoming Events
Engage
There are a number of Wake Forest forums to support AI conversation and sharing. We welcome you to join one or more of the below groups, based on your interests.
Join the Conversation: Survey on AI in Teaching, Research, and Work
The Provost’s Office, Information Systems, the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, and the Center for Analytics invite faculty and staff to participate in a brief, confidential survey about AI attitudes, teaching practices, workplace applications, research practices, learning experiences, and usage patterns on campus. Our goal is to better understand our community’s experience and usage of generative AI tools and how we can support AI integration across campus. You can find the link to the survey in the email sent to faculty and staff on August 22 and upcoming email reminders will also include the link to participation. Thank you for your feedback and participation.
